Catskill Gifts Wholesale is a family owned and operated business, starting out in spring of 2001 as vendors at fairs, shows, flea markets and swap meets.
By year’s end, we opened a small gift shop in Upstate NY tailoring to the local clientele as developing the idea of a website and going internet was born.
Midyear 2002, we moved to a larger gift shop on Main Street tripling floor space. We still managed to attend several State & County fairs and personally work on the development and expansion of our website which was growing rapidly with new items and had gone from 400 to approx. 1,500 items.
By the end of 2002, the decision was made to go wholesale and Catskill Gifts quickly became one of the larger wholesalers due to our competitively lower prices and absolute true variety. Substantial growth of business allowed expansion of our product line to a little over 3,000 quality gift items.
Three fourths of the way through 2003, we saw a surge in customer growth so profit margin was lowered to save our customers even more and product line was expanded to over 4,000 items. Dropshipping for our clients and their customers developed and with partnering with a 60,000 pallet warehouse, Catskill Gifts Wholesale was propelled even further, to become one of the largest gifts and general merchandise wholesalers in the USA.
We are proud that you have made us a major wholesaler, servicing all 50 of the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and APOs/FPOs.
